Cody Woods

Cody brings a deep and well-rounded background in grappling arts, with experience that dates back to 2011. He began coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in 2015, where he quickly recognized the pivotal role wrestling plays in both competitive performance and effective coaching.
Motivated to sharpen his skills and offer more to his students, Cody began training in wrestling in 2017. Since then, he has earned both Copper and Bronze Level USA Wrestling Coaching Certifications. His pursuit of knowledge has led him to cross-train with a variety of high-level wrestlers and coaches throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma, always seeking new techniques and insights.
Cody’s passion for learning and teaching culminated in 2021 when he officially began coaching wrestling. His instruction is shaped by years of hands-on experience, a dedication to fundamentals, and a commitment to helping athletes at all levels grow in confidence, technique, and competitive ability.
